NEST is a national company for educational services & training. It is a subsidiary of the National Technology Enterprises Company (NTEC) which is fully owned by Kuwait’s Sovereign Fund – the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). NTEC is capitalized at 100 million Kuwaiti Dinars. ($330m)

Historically, NTEC has made a lot of investments in technology and tried to bring those technologies into Kuwait. However, it was clear time and time again that without education, technology falls aside. For this reason, NTEC invested in Executive Education programs over the last 7 years and partnered with some of the top business schools around the world such as London Business School, Harvard and HEC to deliver these programs.

NEST was founded in 2019 as part of an effort to fulfill NTEC’s core mandate of transferring knowledge & technology to Kuwait and the region. It was born out of a belief that quality education must start from the very beginning. NEST’s vision is to create a full value chain of education, starting from K-12 Schooling all the way to Executive Education, which would enable the next generations of learners to enhance their skills and expertise, as well as give them a better understanding of how they could integrate technology into their industries - ultimately, for the betterment of Kuwait.

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.”
